Gerry Davis wins Award

Congratulations to Gerry Davis who won The Judges' Choice Award at The Door Prize for Painting 2012! http://thedoorprize.co.uk/

Gerry Davis is currently showing work at The Door Prize For Painting exhibition at Centrespace Gallery in Bristol. Gerry is one of 24 shortlisted  artists for The Door Prize which will be announced on March 28th.

Emmet Kierans' solo exhibition 'Inside Out, Outside In' opens on February 29th in the Talbot Gallery from 6-9pm and runs until March 14th.

Michelle O'Rourke

Michelle O’Rourke is a Limerick based artist originally from Co. Laois. Michelle graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) in 2007 with a Degree in Sculpture and Combined Media. She did her Ordinary level Degree at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT). Michelle completed a Master’s Degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of Limerick in August 2011. Her thesis title was ‘The revival and evolution of natural building materials in Irish Architecture with a case study of a group of buildings by GAIA Ecotecture Ireland’.

Wickham Street Studios member Emmet Kierans is showing new work at the exhibition 'Transitive Relationships' at Limerick City Gallery of Art. The exhibition also includes former Wickham St Studios members Ramon Kassam and Laura McMorrow and marks the launch of the newly refurbished gallery space. The show opens Monday at 5pm and runs until March 4th.
